Forked antler pendant with pyrography design, Ægishjálmur, or the Helm of Awe. This powerful symbol of Icelandic Magic comes from the Huld Manuscript and is named after a powerful magical object described in the Völsunga saga as well as the Fáfnismál in the Poetic Edda. The symbol itself is meant to give strength and protection to the wearer over ones enemies and hardships.
This anlter pendant is approx. 4 inches in length. It has been drilled and sanded to remove rough edges. It is strung upon a 36 inch leather cord.
