About the artist:

My name is Andrew Fitzanko, owner and craftsman of The Beard in the North. I am a 35 year old leatherworker, woodworker and horn maker from Central Illinois. My art is inspired by a love of ancient mythology and fantasy. I love combining different natural materials with designs inspired by artwork of the past including runestones, tapestries and ancient texts.

We do not know what lies ahead on our own paths, only that our own paths have crossed at this moment. Hopefully you will find something that will serve you well on the rest of your journey. Wherever that path may lead.

“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
